Small Business Research

This was completed in 2011 as part of my undergraduate studies.  A lot of the advice is now out-of-date.

As part of my final year project at the University of East Anglia I completed research into How small businesses can benefit from online marketing.  This research received a first class honours.

This research had two sides.  The first side was to find out about the current usage of online marketing and traditional marketing methods, via the distribution of a questionnaire.  The other side was to run experiments with real life businesses testing different online marketing methods.

This research looked into the use of:

  • a Traditional website
  • Online Social networking
  • Mobile Internet
